JANE HAMMONDOWNERJane grew up in England and has a background in the sciences. She went on to train at the Cordon Bleu in London, and started her catering career in England before moving to America in 1975. Jane taught cooking in the U.S. for several years, and then began her professional catering career. Jane Hammond Events grew under her kind and careful direction expanded into a highly respected full service company. Since 2023 Jane has steered the company towards the direction of consulting, preserving her favorite part of the business - client interaction. Jane also operates Boxcar Flower Farm, artfully growing flowers in West Oakland.

NAOMI AGESSENIOR EVENT MANAGERNaomi is a graduate of UC Berkeley, and has lived abroad in Central America and Chile. She loves speaking Spanish, volunteering as a doula, and hiking the East Bay hills. She joined the JHE team in 2005, initially as the staffing manager, and soon made herself indispensible to every aspect of the business. Naomi considers JHE to be like her family; she is proud to be part of a team that provides warm and personalized attention to each client. She currently consults closely with all of our clients, helping ensure they have an event to remember.
